The first coat, "Step #1", forms the background color and "Step #2", the topcoat highlights the embossed grain and tones the background color giving the look of wood. Each color is specifically formulated to render the desired color, depth and effect you want in the garage door.

Many questions have been asked about using a clearcoat over the KTM-Wood Grain.KTM-SV, our exterior rated clearcoat is fully compatible with and will increase the performance properties of the woodgrain system for those who decide they need it.
