KTM-High Solids Primer is a fast drying, quality waterborne Acrylic Exterior/Interior primer. Low in material VOC’s – just 64 grams/liter - it is specifically designed to prime wood. Our low cost KTM-HS Primer can be used with KTM-XL topcoat. KTM-HS Primer is a high solids primer and should be applied at 3.5 mils wet to render 1.5 mils dry. It has excellent adhesion to wood, while providing good hiding and adhesion properties, which allow for additional topcoat applications. KTM-HS Primer is easy to apply either by brush or spray.
